THIS IS MY OWN ALTERNATIVE PORTRAYAL OF TONY STARK. I DON'T AFFLIATED NOR FOLLOW THE MCU OR EVEN THE COMICS. BUT I KEPT SOME BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT HIM BUT THE REST, IT IS MY OWN IDEA, MY OWN PORTRAYAL.

Anthony Edward Stark mostly known as Tony Stark or the Iron Man, in the future, was born on May 29th 1970. His parents are Howard and Maria Stark.From an early age, Tony Stark grew up with the absence of his father who was not only not present but he didn't even show any sign of love or interest toward his son. It was basically his mother and a butler who took care of him during his youth.From a young age, he showed to be extremely brilliant and have a unique mind. At the age of seven, he built a V8 Motorbike Engine. From 1977 to 1984, Tony attended the Phillips Academy in Andover.When he was twenty-one years old, a tragedy happened to him. It was on December 1991, his parents were planning a Christmas holiday to the Bahamas, just the two of them, for a few days but sadly, they never made it to the Bahamas and were brutally assassinated. Tony spent years and so much anger trying to find the culprit, to find who was the person who killed not only his parents but everyone he cared about.Following his parents death, Tony Stark inherited the Stark Industries who was founded by his late father in 1939.A few month later, he became the youngest. He eventually built a custom mansion in Malibu and created an Artificial Intelligence system that helped in the house. He named the Artificial Intelligence J.A.R.V.I.S , in honor of his childhood butler Edwin Jarvis.In the following years, Stark Industries became one of the most advanced company in the world, creating new weapon technology that were highly futurist.After he became the boss of his late father's company ; Stark Industries, he hired Pepper Potts to work on the company's finances.Pepper worked for Tony as a personal assistant for years. During those years, they slowly start to developed a strong mutual attraction between them, but they didn't do anything. They, both weren't aware of their mutual feeling toward each other while everyone else could easily notice it.The first real emotion was showed from Pepper when Tony Stark came back home after being kidnapped and almost died. When Pepper saw him, she shed a tear, happy to know that he was alive. It was a couple of hours later that he asked to help him install his new Arc Reactor to protect his heart.The next month, Tony and Pepper went on their first date during his annual charity ball where they danced together and nearly kissed.A few weeks later, Tony begin experiencing a rise of blood toxicity. Aware that he was dying, he named Pepper the new CEO of Stark Industries but she eventually wanted to quit due to the fact that she thought that he and Natasha Romanoff were having an affair. The hurt turned her to become jealous. Pepper quickly got a respond when she was present during the Stark Expo. While they were at the Stark Expo, the place was attacked and Pepper decided to stay to make sure that everyone was safe but she end up being nearly kill by a self-destruct protocol in the drones who was activated. Seeing this and fearing for her, Tony didn't waste time to flew in and saved her from a drone who exploded. Just as she was set down on a rooftop, she told him that she was quitting as CEO. She started to argued with him but was quickly stopped when Tony pulled her closer and kissed her. After returning the kiss, she eventually accepted to not quit. It was the beginning of their relationship.A couple of days later, seeing the damage of the Stark Expo, the relationship business between Stark Industries and New York took a whole new step toward the future. It was all said during a press conference by Pepper. She presented the structure plan acquired by the Stark Industries, to transformed it into the Stark Tower. It took months but the Stark Tower was finally build, leaving Tony Stark to help by placing the S.T sign. Later that night, Tony and Pepper celebrated by opening a bottle of Dom Périgon.Not a long time after, New York was attacked by some Alien creature, leaving Phil Coulson to ask Stark to help save New York from a dangerous menace and to get help from superheroes like Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner, Clint Barton and Thor. While Pepper was afraid for Tony's safety, she knew that she had to leave him alone so he could focus on the task handed over by the S.H.I.E.L.D.After the damage, people's death by the hand of Loki and the Alien, the Avengers finally defeated the menace with Tony's help since he sacrifice himself to get into the portal, destroying all the Alien and almost died.Upon hearing the news and fearing for the worse, Pepper was anxious and broken but luckily, he survived, thanks to the Arc Reactor.After all of this, Tony returned home with Pepper to the Stark Tower who was now named the Avengers Tower. Pepper was heartbroken to see how much Tony was suffering since the Chitauri attack of New York. He was suffering from anxiety attack and insomnia.Plagued by nightmares, lack of sleep and severe anxiety attack that turned to almost killed her. Fearing for her safety, he left for awhile to get help.During his exile, an explosion happened in the Avengers Tower, releasing a dangerous toxin that she inhaled. When he came back, he found her on the ground, not responding. He quickly took her to see Bruce Banner where she had many test to find what was happening to her. Upon hearing about the toxin she inhaled reached her lungs and would eventually attack her heart, Tony spend money and time to find a cure with Bruce.Seeing that there might not be a way to find a cure in time or to find a way to save her, Bruce Banner told Tony to stay with Pepper as much as possible and this is what he did. The next days, weeks, he was always by her side and he finally found a way to slow down the illness with Bruce's help even though she was extremely weak and could barely stand up but with this temporary cure, it was helping her to prolonged her life and to make her less suffer until the could find a real cure to cleanse the toxin in her lungs and in her body, her heart.Tony could see the change in Pepper as she was able to stand up, to look more alive and well. After a couple of month, Pepper could eat more, she could speak but she wasn't in enough good shape to go out, to take vacation. Their time passing together draw them even more closer than they already were. Tony wasn't ready to give up. When she was asleep, he would spend hours and even not sleeping at all to find a cure for her while Bruce was away and sleeping. He just knew that he wouldn't give up until he save her.The few months he spent with her, his love for her keeps growing. He has never loved someone like her and to prove his undying love, he even try to build her an Arc Reactor but knowing that it could be dangerous for her, he couldn't finish it. Instead he decided to prepare her a special evening where he cooked, brought a bottle of Dom Périgon ( the same bottle they took when they celebrate the Stark Tower. After a beautiful supper, he kneel in front of her to propose. Touched and moved by all of this, Pepper didn't hesitate to accept and says : YESTwo month later, Tony and Bruce found a cure that would slowly destroy every toxin in her lungs and in her heart but the treatment wasn't without pain.Just as she was still in her treatment and extremely ill, another attack happen but it wasn't only in New York but it was spreading quickly in the North America. Upon seeing the news, Pepper, Tony and J.A.R.V.I.S who was known as VISION saw human attacking and eating each other to what seem to be a deadly dangerous disease that turn normal human into killing machine, into walking dead monster.Pepper knew Tony wanted to hep, to protect the humanity as the other Avengers wanted the same thing , and to make sure that no one would be infected by the disease. Pepper told him to go, telling him that she would be alright and save since no one can come in without being seen and she wouldn't let anyone in and Vision as well.Securing the Avenger Tower as much as possible, Tony left not knowing it would be the last time he saw his soon-to-be wife.Protecting anyone he could with the help of the Avengers, he stayed for hours, helping any human he could until he saw with horror , one by one, his teammate turning against him., turning into those dead walker. First, it was Steve Rogers who got bitten during an attempt to protect an human from the dead walker. Then, it was Natasha, Clint. Slowly the world called for any kind of help, saying that they were in a CIVIL WAR against the dead, telling to be careful, to not trust anyone, to watch for any sign that would show an human that they were going to turn into zombies. As he was heading back to save other, he heard an explosion and words from Vision that they got inside the Avenger Tower, that he is protecting Pepper but the doesn't know how long he could stay put since he couldn't get her outside due to her illness.Tony flew back to the Avenger Tower , only to see an army of the dead marching into his home, to his wife. The Avenger Tower was destroyed by the entrance door which make it easier for the army of dead to step inside. Seeing the horror, he quickly head inside, killing everything that move and calling out for his fiancé, for Vision but there was no answer.He was afraid. HE was angry. He searched everywhere until he found them.Tony walk closer to her but was stop by Vision who told him that it was too late. Tony didn't want to hear it. He didn't want to believe it. He pushed Vision out of his way before he walk toward Pepper who was bleeding. A part of her arm was completely torn apart, eating by the dead. Tony defeated fell on his knee. He could feel his heart being shattered in piece, at the view of his fiance who was slowly dying while he was holding her.Before she passed away, Pepper's last word were :
« I love you, Tony. I will always will my dear love, my husband. »Then, she gives her last breath.Tony stayed by her side for hours, holding her close to him as he couldn't stop crying until he heard a growl, followed by movement who showed to be Pepper. He hold her tightly, watching her slowly transform into the dead walker.Tony stood up, watching her helplessly as she did the same with nothing but hunger in her dead eyes. She was gone. His love was gone. There was nothing human left in her.He watched her for a moment before he heard footsteps, followed by growling. Tony knew what he had to do. He didn't want to do it but he didn't want her to suffer and he couldn't stay here.With anger and hatred boiling inside every vibes of his body, he hold out the palm of his hand toward her, watching her with tears and said :« I am sorry, Pepper. I love you. I love you. »Then, a blast of light hit her right in the heart, killing her instantly before he turns to kill Vision, burning down the Avenger TowerFIVE YEAR SNAP ( 2018-2023)After his wife died, Tony went outside and took a barbed-wire from his fence and wrapped it around the wooden baseball bat he received as a gift when he was younger.Over the years, this baseball bat stayed with him as Tony gradually descended into a vicious leader. He quickly became the leader of a group to everyone's safety and with him, he never leave his baseball bat.With his intelligence, he found a way to secure a building, build weapon and found any kind of way to get food supplies and everything else that they need without having to leave. Soon when he finished to rebuild and modified the building, he called it
« PEPPER : A VERY RARE WOMAN » he engraved it in a stone as a way to remember her and placed another stone with all the name of the Avenger and every person who became victim and died from this deadly disease that turn them into cold-blooded killer.Things were prospering for a couple of years and they were saved until the unexpected happen and an illness spread in the building, killing and turning countless of innocent into zombies. One by one, Tony watches women, men and children succumbing by the illness and soon after, the building was infested by zombies. He tried his best to save as many people as possible but it was too late. The only one left thing to do was to burn down the building with all the people inside, leaving him, AGAIN, the only survivor.Devastated , Tony watches the building being taken away by the flame. There was blood all over his face and his baseball bat who he has named PEPPER as a way to always remember her. He didn't move for hours. He didn't even cared to see an army of zombies coming to get him. He was ready to die. He didn't even have any fight left in him. He has lost his wife, everyone he cared about. He has failed the human.Defeated, he just close his eyes, ready to be taken by those cold-blooded dead until he heard an explosion. The earth was shaking, followed by a vortex portal opening in front of him which brought him to open his eyes. Through the portal, he could see civilization. It wasn't like his world where everything was gone, everyone dead. Earth-836 was completely destroyed by the zombies and by whoever open this portal. He knew that even if he missed his wife, he wasn't ready to die.Without a second thought, he stood up. He turned to watches the zombies getting closer until he walk inside , looking at the portal slowly making disappearing what was once his home. He didn't want to let the chance for the zombies to destroy another home.It was then that he turned around wondering where he was? He could see that he was being watched by those eyes-witnesses. He didn't even cared since he was too busy wondering where he was and still in shock by everything he saw and had to do back on Earth-836. He was on his guard. Everything , everyone, every movement, every sounds was triggering for him. Everything was so different than his home. Nothing was the same. He wanted to speak but no sound wanted to come out. He was unable to move or to speak.Where was he ? was it safe ? Is it another apocalyptic world ? There was so many question going through his mind but no answer were given... yet.

- He is shown to be a cold-blooded killer who kills not just for survival.
- He has a great respect for those he views as strong, both physically ad emotionally and those who shows bravery and defiance against him.
- He is shown to be capable of severe torture and will hurt anyone who does not follow his rules.
- He is not completely heartless as he is often seen showing love and care for children and for babies. He is against killing children and women. He is against sexual violence and won't hesitate to kill those who do it.
